About me

I am a writer and creative director based in Dublin.

My work focuses on the psychological impetus to delude ourselves in order to avoid pain. I find human madness, particularly my own, to be moving, tragic and comical in equal measures.

I beleive in the heart as the strongest force of political power.

My short fiction is published in The Dublin Review, Winter Papers 7 & 9 (edited by Kevin Barry), Holy Show 6, Crannog & others.

I won the Cuirt short story prize in 2023 for my story ‘Latch.’

I have been awarded 3 Irish Arts Council Literature Bursary Awards and 4 Agility Awards.

I was awarded a Canada Council for the Arts, Research and Creation award in 2020.
